This mechanism is used to stop spam-harvester software getting my e-mail address from my website.

My anti-spam system is particularly aggressive. If your outgoing mail-server is misconfigured you may have problems sending me mail. Plain-text e-mail has a far, far better chance of getting through than HTML mail. If you get an error saying a mail could not be delivered because of 'greylisting' try resending it after an hour or so. Unfortunately after ten years using the same e-mail address I get thousands of spam sent to me daily and it is a constant battle to keep it out of my mailbox (though currently I am winning the fight with 0% of those thousands of messages getting through).

I don't always have time to reply to every mail I get but I do my best :-)
