Hello there.

My name is Stuart, I'm a 36-year-old I.T. professional from east-central Scotland.

I spend most of my working life sat at a keyboard quietly doing horribly complicated things with computers.

I spend most of my home life sat at a keyboard listening to music and doing horribly complicated things with computers.

OK, it's not quite as simple as that, occasionally my wife and daughter drag me away from the keyboard and make me do fun stuff in the real world and I have to eat and sleep and stuff but I do spend a lot of time staring at computer screens and bashing away at the keyboard or just scratching my head and saying 'what?' in a variety of humors.

My primary professional work has been in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP) web application development, Linux, Unix and Windows System Administration and Network Administration but I can turn my hand to most things and have been doing things to/with computers since I got my first PC (a humble Sinclair ZX Spectrum) at about 12 years old.

www.hadez.org is my online playground, I spend more time fiddling with the source code for this site and it's offshoots than actually adding content to it so it's never even remotely near 'current', 'complete' or 'polished' but hey-ho, that's the way it goes.
